John Barrington died of leukemia in 1991. He studied at St Martin's School of Art in London and at L'Ecoles des Beaux Arts in Paris. He was friends with Cocteau, Coward, Vidal and Zeffirellli. He created and sold photographs to all the physique and gay magazines in Britian and was prosecuted numerous times for his art.
