Bruce Kamerling 1950 - 1995

A native of Detroit , Kamerling was active as president of the Lesbian and Gay Historical Society of San Diego. He studied art at San Diego State University and in Mexico , Greece and Egypt . He served as curator of collections of the San Diego Historical Society from 1977 until his death. He also was president of Save Our Heritage, an organization responsible for preserving a number of grand, old Victorian homes in San Diego .
