John Pascarella
July 13, 1938–June 8, 2003

John Pascarella was a member of the Leslie-Lohman Advisory Committee and contributed generously to the foundation. John hosted our annual volunteer party at his garden apartment on 23rd St. His wit and knowledge of history made for interesting conversation.

For many years John was the manager of J's Hangout.

John was HIV+ and died from complications due to lung cancer. He is survived by a brother and his partner, Dennis Berger (pictured at left with John.)
