LESLIE/LOHMAN ARCHIVE NO. 19
|
Leslie/Lohman
Because of the enormous success of LLGAF’s tours to Sicily and Bologna (not to mention our wonderful day tours in and around New York) we have consulted with our great friend and collaborator Anna Canepa (Anna Canepa International Arttours) and have chosen the island nation of Malta as our next destination. It will involve a one-week journey from Monday, Sept. 25 to Monday, Oct. 2. 2006. Traveling via Sicily we will spend the first 2 days visiting Catania and Siracusa, setting the stage for Malta, and the baroque area of Modica, Ragusa and Ilba. Over the next 5 days in Malta we will visit Mdina, Gozo, Senglea, Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Valleta (where we will see St. John’s Co-Cathedral with Caravaggio’s Beheading of St. John the Baptist). All the famous archeological sites are on the tour—Ggantija, Haga Qim, Hypogeum. Hotels and restaurants are all hand picked by Anna Canepa. Participation is limited to 10 people, so if you’re interested, don’t delay. Call us now…it’s first come, first served. Price per person excluding airfare: $2,950 double occupancy; $3,650 single occupancy. Anna Canepa can help with arranging air fares at the best rates. Contact LLGAF at 212-431-2609 or LLDirector@earthlink.net to register.
