The Director's Corner...

Information Please...At long last we can finally see results from our labors at the computer. The process has been slow, but with presistence we've entered nearly a thousand artists into the database and can now print out information about them. However, some of that information is sparce, indeed. If you are an artist who has shown or even not shown at LLGAF, please make sure we have an up-to-date bio/exhibition history on you. If you have copies of articles written about you/or your work, send us a copy.

And if you have any information on any gay or lesbian artists, send it to us. We are looking for magazines, books, papers, articles, etc., about gay or lesbian art/artists. Oral history is valuable, too: tape it or write it down. If you have these items in your possession, please donate them to the Archive.

This information is essential in establishing the legitimate place of our tribe in history. We are continually looking for this sort of information -- contemporary or historical -- to make The George Dudly Archive a vital resource. Help us.

Volunteers Please...We are also in need of volunteers to help in the process of organizing the Archive (updating artists files and inputting information into the data bank). We are looking for people with computer skills, and interest in helping the Foundation prosper, and the ability to volunteer a few hours a week.

To volunteer or donate any information, please contact Wayne Snellen.
